Reiki Healing Session

Reiki Healing Session

A Reiki healing session is a holistic approach to wellness that focuses on balancing and harmonizing the energy within the body.  During a Reiki session, the practitioner acts as a channel for the universal life force energy, by gently placing their hands on or near the client’s body.  The energy flows through the practitioner’s hands to the recipient, promoting relaxation and activating the natural healing processes of the body.  Every session will commence and conclude with a thorough check of each chakra.

24 Hours Before Your Reiki Session – Please refrain from using recreational drugs or alcohol 24 hours before your session.  Prescription drugs are acceptable.

Key Elements of a Reiki Session:

1. Relaxation: Clients are fully clothed and comfortably lying down on a massage table during a Reiki session.  The atmosphere is calm and serene, creating a safe space for relaxation.

2. Energy Channeling: The practitioner uses a series of hand positions to channel the energy of the Reiki Ray. The energy is gentle, non-intrusive, and may involve light touch or be done without physical contact.

3. Balancing Energy Centers: Reiki aims to balance the energy centers (chakras) within the body.  Imbalances in these energy centers can contribute to physical, emotional, or spiritual challenges.

4. Holistic Healing: Reiki is a holistic healing modality, addressing not only physical ailments but also promoting emotional and spiritual well-being.  Clients may experience a sense of peace, reduced stress, and improved overall energy flow.

5. Crystal Placement: At the practitioners’ discretion, crystals may be used in conjunction with Reiki.  Crystals are not used during every session.  Crystals may be strategically placed on or around the client’s body.  Each crystal is chosen for its unique energetic properties and alignment with specific chakras or areas of concern.  The combination of Reiki and crystal healing aims to balance and align the chakras, promoting a free flow of energy throughout the body.

6. Client Experience: Individuals often report various sensations during a session, such as warmth, tingling, or deep relaxation.  The experience is unique to each person, and outcomes may vary.

7. Post-Session Integration: The session concludes with a final check of the chakras and a discussion with the client about their experience.  Practitioners often provide insights or suggestions for continued self-care.  After a Reiki session, practitioners recommend clients take time to integrate the experience, by staying hydrated and engaging in self-care practices.
